Unique Student Identifier
A USI (Unique Student Identifier) is a personal reference number consisting of ten numbers and letters. It’s free, simple to create, and remains with you for life.
You’ll need a USI if you are a new or continuing student enrolled in nationally recognised training.
Without a USI, you won’t be able to receive your statement of attainment, qualification, or award.
For VET students, the USI allows access to an online record of your nationally recognised training through a VET transcript. This can be helpful when:
- Applying for a job
- Requesting a credit transfer
- Meeting prerequisites for further training
